My up bringing.I had really great role models growing up.They taught me to be myself. And to treat others as I want to be treated..Also,that no matter what you do,make sure you aren't ashamed for anyone to know.
When I first became a parent,I was worried about how I would do as a parent. My next door neighbor gave us some very good advice I carry with me to this day.He said," Don't go anywhere that doesn't allow your child to go,then you'll know you're raising them in the right way".

All that crap my mother poured into my little head when I was too young to think for myself. The Bell Tolls For Me. Don't do this, don't do that, you "should" and you "shouldn't". Hey, What's the Statute of Limitations on something like that???
