It's obviously not Joe Dimaggio, since Ruth's last year as a Yankee was 1934 and Joe D didn't arrive until 1936. Do you think the Yankees went with only two outfielders that season?
The first answer is correct - it was George Selkirk, a good player who would never be on the level of the Babe.
