Absolutely, it ties hand in hand with "Everything happens for a reason". It all kinda flows together, if it's supposed to happen...it WILL.

My believe will change not your believe if you are not ready to change your self your own believe. The result of this action is what is meant to be.

Between acting and accepting what is meant to be there is no difference. The only separation that seems to be is made by your own ego.

I prefer the phrase "whatever happens happens", because we all make choices and we can debate until the cows come home about whether it was meant to be or a result of our own free will. In the end its pointless.

Destiny? Fate? Who can say?

One of the greatest advocates of healthy living leading to longevity died of a heart attack at the age of 64, while jogging. Ironic, no? I mean, here he was, a vegetarian, avoiding cholesterol and fat, and WHAM! Heart attack before the national average of the time (72). I try not to dig too deep, and master my destiny, while keeping it in mind that may fate may already be sealed.

I think the only one thing we have control over...a choice in, is our thinking. We can learn to not follow negative thoughts. Following negative thinking until they ramify into drama contributes to 95% of all human suffering. Beyond that, I think we have no control. We are on a 'reel', like in the old films, playing our rolls.

No, not at all. I do not believe in any sort of predestination theory. It conflicts with my belief in free will. I believe that in every moment we choose and create our own reality via the law of attraction.

No...this makes us merely robots and lazy bones. To make something happen, we must take action. What we sow is what we reap. Life is not some sort of big bang, someone was at work.

I am a determinist, but that phrase usually suggests that people sit back and let everything happen, and I don't believe in that.

No.

The statement excludes the role that each of us has in our own lives and future. It excludes the role that each of us can play in the positive and negative experiences of others.
