6 points for a touchdown. 1 or 2 for a conversion. The red zone is inside the 20 yard line on the offensive side.

The red zone is 20 yards or closer to the opposing goal line and a touchdown is worth 6 points. The red zone is often mentioned in broadcasting and it's refering to the lack of area the defense has to defend, which reflects in the lack of ability, percentage wise, for a team to make a touchdown. This is because the receivers don't have enough space to play the pass because it's the ideal place for an interception and the defense and offense both play against the run. There are even stats on how well teams do in the red zone. Some teams are much better than others.

Uh, the red zone is where the QB was crushed by the middle LB. Usually this where all the blood from the laseration to the chin and forehead drain all over the grass or turf, RED ZONE.

You get 10 points for a touch down. When two hands from a defensive player touches the offensive player on the ground he has 10 points of contact, TOUCH DOWN.

I hope I cleared things up for you, heh heh heh...
