Me=horrible at algebra
me=have to go to advanced geometry!

it is somewhat harder. A WHOOOOOLE lot more to memorize. I took honors Alg. I last year in eighth grade and gifted geometry this year in ninth grade and made around the same grades in both classes. THANK GOD there are only 28 days left in this school year for me and we've already finished the entire text book.

For some, yes. For some, no.
It's quite different from algebra. There really isn't any correlation between the two. Some people have a difficult time with algebra and have no problems with geometry. And some do well in algebra, and struggle with geometry. And, of course, some people struggle with both, and some think both are easy. It comes down to three things - how good is the teacher, how is your brain wired, and how interesting is the subject matter to you.

Algebra comes before geometry.
In other words, you must have a decent understanding of algebra to understand geometry.
The same goes for trigonometry, which you will also see later on.
You need a solid geometry background to understand trigonometry.
The same goes for calculus.
You need a solid understanding of algebra, geometry and trigonometry to understand calculus and so on.

It is an application of algebra to geometrical figures plus the logic of proving properties of the figures based on prior information and deduction. Some people have the knack, some don't.

i recon it is.
geometry is harder
um um, but maybe algebra could be a bit more
confuzzin for some ppl, so it's maybe easyer for
u to do geometry. ;)
