i need good advice?

okay here's the question .i work in a hotel and i clean hotel rooms well i had cleaned a room the guy had all ready checked out ,there was nothing left in the room if there was i would have turned it in okay when i got home someone from my job call's me and tell me this guy that was in the room had left some prescriben drugs in the room and he thought that i took them .well the person on the phone tells me that tomorrow i will probley go too jail and charges put on me.okay my question is i did not take this pills,i did not find any pills they can search my locker and my housekeeping cart and they want find nothing .can they arrest me on just what this guy has said.

Why do you say...prescriptions when he "left them behind" ...and, then defend yourself with "i didnt take his pills"

not all prescription drugs are pills, some are ointments, braces, instructions, etc...

i think you did take his pills, and you gave yourself away by what i just stated.

First of all, the police won't arrest you or file any charges without probable cause. It sounds like a scare tactic to try and get you to confess. If you didn't find or take the pills, stand up and defend yourself...consult legal counsel if necessary.

More importantly, your employer handled this matter horribly. They clearly don't think much about you and this is a despicable way to treat an employee. I would strongly encourage you to find another job ASAP.

I don't think they can arrest you without probable cause or evidence. But you still might want to get a lawyer.

Yeah kinda. Heres the deal, when he comes to meet you, you too go into one of the rooms and try to work something out.

What?!? Some guy loses his pills and your boss threatens you. PUHLEEZE! As long as you don't have any pills, I wouldn't even worry about it.
