Should bovine serum albumin test positive with ninhydrin?

bsa is a protein and has free amino groups on the alpha carbon... so it should test positive and turn blue/purple right?

What about cysteine? When I heated in with ninhydrin for 10 mins it turned yellow! Did i do something wrong?
