All Koreans should not be held accountable for the crime of one person. I hope Americans can learn from this and not lash out at innocent people. I can't guarantee you safety. It all depends on how Americans will deal with this. Hopefully, not all Americans will fall into the "blaming game" that's already started.

I'm sorry to say this, but yes, there are some insane people out there that are full of hatred and you should be very careful until things calm down.

I live in a small town and after what happened 9/11 the Muslims here were treated so badly, were threatened and attacked.
Its sad that because of one or a few people, an entire race is judged.

It is horrible that prejudice continues and something should be done we should stand up. However, a group dedicated to only goths should spread look at all the hate crimes everyday. Genocides and wars in the name of religion 2,000,000 people in Dafur maybe these should be targeted as well maybe awareness should be presented of all hate crimes not just ones against goths. Just pointing out that when one person kills another over hate crime its a big deal however, millions of people dying by their own country doesnt seem to be a problem. I don't think awareness of mass genocide hampers the work I think in situations like this more people aware is a better thing.

I'm Korean myself, from New Jersey. Perhaps if you live near the Blacksburg, Va. there might be some slight cause for concern, but on the whole, I think we're going to be okay.

NO WORRIES AT ALL!!

It appears Cho was a Muslim. Islam is not a race. The hatred and rage behind these killings were entirely from the Islamic communinty. Anyone who blames Koreans is stupid as Hades, but I seriously doubt this will happen on any noticeable level.

Non-Muslim Asians are highly respected members of American culture.

I wouldn't worry. Koreans are not normally associated with such acts of violence; I doubt there would be any backlash unless an organized Korean death-cult or terrorist cell or violent mafia emerged.
