I bought a 5 gallon fish tank, i followed all the info that came with the tank, pre-rinsed everything and added my water, also threw in the water conditioner, that removes chlorine&chloramine, i did run the tank 24 hours before i threw the fish in, all the sudden i have bubbles building on the surface of the water, am wondering what is causeing this.

Bubbles are on top of water, and again i only have one small zebra fish inside the tank, he/she has been in there for 3 days and nothing happend until this moring when i went to feed him/she and there where bubbles covering the top of the water, and if this is a nesting thing how long does this last?

ok so it seems that i have a male building a nest then, how long does this last, and the bubbles will go away on their own? this wont hurt the fish. also like to thank everyone with their answers, im kinda new to the whole fish thing, why i started with a 5 gallon tank ehehe, again thanks so much for the help.

probely thats a male danio building a nest. cuz my fish tanks never did that.....
