yeah it's stupid to post this question here, but I'm really insecure about my body type. I'm 5'1, 98 lbs with a small build. My measurements are 32B-24-32. I keep myself toned and in shape, but I really wish I was taller. People always refer to me as "tiny" and I do not know if they are trying to complement me or if they mean I am weird-looking small. Any advise?

Tiny is a nice compliment so smile.
Short is OK but no compliment
Stumpy is an insult

tiny people are cute. a lot of tall people wish they were a little shorter so be happy with what you have. a lot of girls would wish to have a size b bust like you also. so the next time someone tells you you're tiny tell them thank you I know and I can't help it. If they're teasing you don't tease back take it as a compliment and they will have nothing to say after that. so tiny is cute. tall is huge.

Take it as a compliment,being petite is good .I come from the land of Giants I am 5'8 my brothers and nephews are 6'0- 6'3. every where I have worked or gone to school I have towered over all my friends and what sucks is I love to where high heels but then I'm 6'0. You sound gorgeous don't worry about your height! We always want what we don't have ,I have real wavy hair and I flat iron it straight!

I think they are referring to the fact that you are tiny as in weight and size but not including height. I am the same height and weigh 105 and people call me tiny as in skinny all the time so I wouldn't take it personally.

That's perfectly fine! Think about it, you couldn't be so thin if you were taller. Tall people look anorexic when they are that thin. Shorter people just look petite! I mean if you were taller, all your other measurements would not fit right. Don't be insecure. And people probably say you're tiny in a nice way, meaning they think it's cute!

theyre complementing you. I am very skinny too and people are always telling me im so small, and they throw me over theyre shoulders to prove either 1 how strong they are or 2 how light i am. I havent decided yet

well that's kinda crazy they refer 2 you as tiny because I'm 2 inches taller than but people call me tall

ignore them. I'm a lil heavy, not like obese, and my family criticize me about me gaining alot of weight after my kids were born. I just havent been able to lose the weight. I just ignore them. If I listened to everyone about my weight I would be depressed. I told them I was happy with my weight and they need to leave me the hell alone!! that got them to back off of the weight issue.

i'm close to those measurmens as well! and people call me tiny a lot too. i think they mean skinny. and these days skinny girls are ideal girls. so when they call you tiny...just blush and say "no...i just have a small frame" trust me! it's a compliment. i have people say to me "i wish i was your size" all the time! embrace it!

theres nothing wrong with being tiny.... tall people may look good in alot of things, but only short people can pull off wedge heels!!! And no one can call you fat!
