I can't believe my baby is 5 months old already. He too loves his Winnie the Pooh mobile. I also bought him a Twillight Turtle that displays stars on the entire ceiling of a dark room. Before he falls asleep he will stare up at the stars and smile at them. He likes it when I take the tip of a soft blanket and run it over his face, it tickles him and he smiles and coos. Music and dancing makes him happy. Everything he does makes me smile! Babies are so amazing to watch and interact with. Enjoy yours as the time has passed so quickly already.

Cath is right, developmentally speakme she's most effective 5 weeks historical. Besides that, every youngster does things at their own percent. My son started smiling within the primary 2 weeks, however he's 3 months now and hasn't particularly giggled or laughed. Most toddlers are gradual with some matters and speedy with others so do not fear. Just speak to her so much, make funny faces, tickle her. She will give you a large outstanding smile when she's equipped.

My little girl just loves being talked to. Every time we're out in public and someone talks to her she gets a giant smile on her face and bounces up and down. She also smiles at pretty much everything her 3-year-old brother does. She's the happiest baby I've ever met - which in turn makes ME smile.

We have a deflated mylar balloon of Mater (cars movie) above the changing table. Since she was about 6 weeks old, my now five month old baby gets the biggest smile on her face every time she sees it.
