To find an easy way out. Either by shooting yourself or by shooting the person who gets in your way.

It's sad that we don't talk things over but we rather resolve things with violence!!!

Well, let's conside what you are implying. Roughly half the homes in American have firearms. What are you saying about all thoses people?

Why do policemen carry firearms? Why did the Founders give us the Second Amendment guaranteeing the Right to Keep and Bear Arms?

What do you think would have happened if some of the victims had been armed? If you had been a student at the school when this nut went on his rampage, would you have liked to have been armed?

What happens if six guys decide to just walk into your house, kill everyone in it, and take what they want? It's called home invasion. What is the deterent to home invasion? I'll tell you, it's not knowing whether or not someone in that home has a firearm. That puts a whold new light on the subject.

Firearms save a lot more lives than they take. Americans are not Europeans. We are not subjects. We are not going to tolerate a Hitler or a Stalin here.

It is sad that incidents like the school shooting occur. But it illiustrates what gun control accomplishes. Non of the students were in a position to defend themselves. They were all victims because they were complying with the rules. Criminals and terrorists don't follow the rules. They do what they want.

There is a report that this guy was on some kind of prescribed drug. If that is the case, what should be done to the psychiatrist who give it to him? Why do continue to allow psychiatrists to create these monsters? And then use these tragedies to make law abiding citizens even bigger victims.

First of all, you're nothing but an anti-gun moron, and if you had half a brain you'd be more dangerous than any gun I could ever own.
Having said that though, I do own a few guns and I use them for lots of things. I have a few collectable WWII peices that I mainly just look at, and occasionally show off to my buddies. I have a target pistol that I shoot in tornaments with. I have a couple handguns for protection, and I use my AK47 just to shoot pop cans at the shooting range. See, I own several guns, and I've never killed anything, I don't even hunt. Shooting is mainly a hobby, and it's also one of the few things my Dad and I get to do together anymore.
I'm sorry I got upset with your question, but you anti-gun guys need to understand that probably 95% of the people in this counrty who own guns will never hurt anybody. Yet you guys act like anyone who'd own a gun is a nut job like that VT douche bag! We're not, we're just like you guys except for our hobby is collecting and shooting guns.
Well that's all I can tell you.

Guns are more of a detterent though in my opinion, and while there have been some good, such as police who only use them when it necessary, guns also cause problems (in political and diplomatic instances).

Really, it depends on who is holding the gun and for what reason they have the gun to make any attempt at validifying this discussion.

obviously they were originally made for one thing, killing. but now they exist. They will, no matter what the laws are.
So if you are living in reality, you can recognize that the best defense against gun violence is deterence, which includes the right of people to protect themselves with them.

Capital punishment is supposed to be a deterrent and it doesn't work either. Many people who own guns probably don't know how to use them properly and in a crisis situation, that could be more dangerous than the attacker themselves.

Yes, but it's not what you believe. Guns project raw power. How that power is used is the difference between a criminal and a patriot.

Kill, kill, kill. Kill the target. Kill your neighbor. Kill your enemies. Kill for the fun of it. Kill to get even. Kill to protect your family and stuff. Kill kill kill. I am tired of the gun control crap. Guns are just a tool to accomplish killing. Try an airline, rope, your bare hands, a knife, a car, bombs, drown em, poison. The heart is what kills. Oh by the way can someone come and shoot or attempt to kill you, your family, or friends, or steal your stuff or freedom and you accept it? Or will you expect the cops to kill for you? Survival is strong and the evil is strong. Do you support war? You can have my guns bullets first is what my mom says and she has shot someone to protect her children. Didn't kill em just aimed for the leg and it was effective.
