Agate is an emotional healing stone and pink agate is used to solve love problems.
I honestly don't think it matters if it's been treated, heated or dyed however, before you use them for mystical means you should be sure to "cleanse" your stones to get rid of all negative energy.

pink agate is dyed. i have a hot pink one. in general agate is used to produce insperation. it has been used to strengthen sight, and premote marital fidelity.
depending on the specific type of agate, there are other abilites connected to it.

I believe the pink agate is a grounding crystal. It helps with balance. Any crystal helps if it "connects" with you. You'll know it when you feel it!
