I suppose it is a joke to vote for a clueless 17 year old. What is really happening is the people who vote for him are taking away the opportunity for someone that is actually good at singing. The Idols that have won have done very well in the music arena. Some of us even enjoy the singers that are on. I have seen at least two people that have been cut, one was #13 and she will not be able to tour with Idols now and Sanjia will. Where is the justice for that? She has lost $ and he has gained $ for what, a flat note, to much hair? Really find something other to do with your time.

I agree with you this Sanjaya insanity is Riduculous. Im still racking my brain trying to figure out how the hell Sanjaya Malakar is still on American Idol. Who the hell is voting for this kid besides the pre-teen and teenage crowd? Sanjaya has turned the show into a big joke. On tonights show (April 16) the kids perfomed Martina Mc Brides songs. Sanjaya was the most terrible tonight. I agree with Simon Cowell when he told Sanjaya that his performance tonight was "terribly horrendous". Simon summed up Sanjayas performance with two simple words. I agreed with him 100%. The kid and his girly hair needs to go home tommorrow night. If he doesnt i will scream the neighborhood down. This is the worst season of American Idol ive seen so far. This season is all about Sanjaya. How sad.

I AGREE COMPLETELY ! I am boycotting American Idol unitl he is voted off. Someone will have to tell me who gets voted off tomorrow because I can't spend another five minutes listening to him sing and there are much better people who are being denied the chance to be on the show because of him.

im almost positive that they vote for him because he is a bit mentally challenged in the singing aspect of it all. i have to admit he was one of my favorites at the begining of the show, but now i realize it was only because of his mile wide smile. thats actually the reason my friends vote for him, because hes cute. seriously though, its not american beauty contest, its american frigging idol, vote for the people who can sing.
