"you are tall and slender"

you are tall and slender
like your mother,
dark and charming,
like your mother.

blessed be the branch
like the parent tree,
dark and charming,
like the parent tree.

all the night long
little one , i think of you
for i am dying of love
since i first saw you,
dark and charming,
since i first saw you.

you are like the rose
of alexandria,
dark and charming,
of alexandria.

all the night long
little one , i think of you
for i am dying of love
since i first saw you,
dark and charming,
since i first saw you.

yes, it's someone in awe of this precious little one... he's in love with the mother.... her every nuance.... the branch is a visual of the child being the extention of the mother's grace and beauty. The Rose of Alexandria is a metaphor describing the boy/girl's exoticness as either Alexandria being the mother's name or of the place Alexandria... dark and charming. Could be boy or girl .. most likely girl child since roses usually describe females.. Narrator could be anyone who loves the child, but most likely a male (father?) as the description of the mother is a little more erotic than say a grandma looking at a grandchild would describe the mother.

With an e e cummings poem, pronouncing "This is what it approach to me" is like seeking to nail Jello to a tree. This poem has continually appeared very professional-feminist, or a minimum of anti anti-feminist. It talks approximately impartial considering to me. Effie (a reputation that sounds suspiciously just like the phrase "iffy") it sounds as if not ever notion for herself and all that is left of her crumbly mind is a number of subjunctives: woulda, coulda ,shoulda, musta. Even God appears on the ones 6 crumbs with puzzlement; even His omniscience are not able to fathom why a character might reside her lifestyles permitting others to suppose for her.
