You appeal...when the judge misquote or mis applies the law then it is an automatic appeal...that is if the judge really is wrong and its not that you just don't like the ruling.

How about this: state your case in crystal clear terms. As you make each point, stress that it is irrefutable, and not subject to interpretation. It is black and white.

Then make a none-too-subtle closing statement that, if for some incomprehensible reason you do not prevail in the case, you will take it to his superiors, and ask for judicial review. This will imply that the only way he can decide against you is if he is corrupt, and that you are willing to make sure his superiors know it. Every judge has a court above him.

unfortunately your only option is to appeal the lower court decision, and hope the appeal court has a better understating of the law
