Not at all. Back in the 1980s there was a man who walked into a bank in new york, the man was painfully homeless looking in dress and appearance so the bank teller refused to help him, so the guy took his 3 million dollar account somewhere else. (True story, I just can't remember the bank name)

NO, the clothes definately does not make the man. A man can have torn ratty clothes, and can be the nicest man in the world. I think you should base man on their personality and sense of humor rather than the clothes he wears. He could be poor and just not be able to afford them, but he could still be a GREAT person. I think you shouldn't judge someone based on the clothes they wear. I think that isn't right!
