I have two black labs, and their urine is killing the lawn. Any ideas as to what I can do to prevent this(other than the expensive food/treats you can buy). Any ideas as to what I can do to prevent it in the winter as well as the summer??? Thanks!!!!!!

You can put bakeing soda in their water don't worry it won't hurt them but it stopped my dog burning the lawn.Only put a little bit their water.

Can you go to the park for walkies and they go there? At least some of the time?

I like the watering the lawn after - but it means watching WHERE the boys relieve themselves. Ah well, the pains of dog-owning.

I have a chihuahua and her 'water' is about 2 teaspoonsful. Hee hee!!

I put lime on my lawn about once a month to cut down on the brown spots. Lime is cheap, I think it is less than $10 and a bag lasts me many applications, at least 15. I bought a cheap handheld spreader to disperse the lime. Works for me!

The only thing I can suggest is spraying the area with the hose after peeing to dilute the salt content.

My neighbor tried this product, and said it worked well on her lawn. She used it on small spots at first, then last fall, applied it to her whole yard.

Yes shock them and make them pee in a select spot like the litter box
