I LOVE her music. I don't understand why ppl think she's a poser. If you're going to dis her do it nicely or i will be very very sad.

I know exactly how you feel. To me, she's being herself and she doesn't care what others say about her. There is alot of media that think celebs are posers. The sound of her music is kinda like a cross between pop and punk, depending on the music and the lyrics. I'll always lover her music, no matter what category she falls under.

I'd say that Avril Lavigne is a great pop-rock singer and songwriter who knows how to rock whenever she has a guitar to play with. Therefore, I'm not going to diss her due to her poser look. Seriously.

I don't think she is a poser at all! She is a great artist and she does her own thing. She does not call herself punk. People label her because the don't have anything to call her unique style. I think she is awesome.

I'm not sure if she dubbed herself punk or someone in the media did this. If the media did this then I don't put the blame on her, but in my opinion she is pop music. As long as she doesn't pretend to be something she isn't i'm okay with her.

I like her but I think she made a mistake by calling herself Punk.
She should have just sang her songs, collected her fans and been happy. She's clearly not punk, so she alienated a lot of people.

she is kind of a poser .. she says that she is punk but then she puts out a song like "girlfriend" which sounds like a kidsbop song to me

I like her music, too. i think that ever since she got married, she threw away her wild past while still being a punk rocker.

she changed from punk to princess. i liked her punk music back then like complicated. i guess ever since she got married she went girly.

I think she's great,but I am surprised at her new single.I never thought she would turn pop.
