Ok I don't know about music but I know something that worked for me. I won't bore you with the details but I had some serious depression at one time for a year or so and I thought I would never come throught it but being very headstrong and confident before this happened to me I knew I could figure out a way of bringing myself out of it. So everytime I became nervous about a situation I used to say to myself over and over in my head no guilt no doubts no regrets. If it helped me get out of some really deep depression I am sure it could help with your nervousness. There is not always a stereo around when you become nervous.

Swing Life Away - Rise Against
Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath (very relaxing!)

May I add to the 'Jimi Hendrix' songs. You should also listen to 'Foxy lady' and The Star Spangled Banner (yes, our National Anthem) ... I 'can't' listen to them alone any more because he was a friend of mine and now he's gone ... but these are his 'best songs' and they really do help a person to 'relax' ... it's because his music is so 'uptight' that you just 'have to totally relax' when it's over ... so play the Star Spangled Banner LAST ... and STAND UP while it's playing ... then 'flop back' onto your bed when it's over ... and 'good luck' tomorrow at whatever it is you have to do ... You'll do GREAT!

Serenity musical massage. I got it off a clearance table at T J Maxx a year ago for 3 bucks. Really does relax you like you are having a massage. If you can't find that Rhapsody in Blue works well too. (*/*)

Try listening to acoustic songs. Songs by Five Times August and Joe Brooks.

Joe Brooks Myspace- http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=10656908

Five Times August Myspace- http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=3042492

They play their own songs on their myspaces.. Their songs are very calm and relaxed.

I hope this helped a little. Good luck!
