I think the economy is largely a 3 ring circus with alot of fanfare and not much actual data.

I agree. If anybody thinks that the US has the advantage in semi-conductor and hi-tech, think again. I work in that field and have watched most production shift to Asia. I have watched companies like GE and Rohm and Haas, open huge research facilities in mainland China all the while diminishing their research labs in the states. Computer programming is done in India. We have nothing left but service jobs. Our economy is not sustainable.

Not in America. Maybe someone knows of the Asian markets -which are doing superbly since all our jobs were sent to them -courtesy of the well un-taxed American corporations.

More things are mechanized and require less people to do more work in a faster amount of time.
