Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

I suppose that each and every person is interested in differing things, and therefore, would have different views on the meaning of life and such. For years, I pondered on this very question.

Finally, I came up with an answer. Life is meant to be enjoyed while it lasts, so therefore, live life to the fullest and enjoy life. Be the best person you can be and learn to truly love and care for people. Make that your desire, because you can always fullfill it. Not only that, but the impact it'll make will leave a sort of legacy... will affect other people in a sort of butterfly effect, and... in a sense, you'll live on in those actions that continue to affect and impact others' lives. Aside from that, having loved those people, you'll have that desire fullfilled in the lessons and care you've given unto them.

You enjoy your life, and when you die, you'll still continue to impact the world in a buttefly effect... Hopefully, that effect will be positive rather than negative.

The meanting of life if to love, not take things for granted, and have the time of your life, but keep up with the world around you. You really don't need a long awnser. Live every day as though it is your last day on earth. You could wake up tommrow and well... no, you may not wake up tommrow so you should make the best out of what you've got. Love others as you love yourself and always be there for the people you love. Cry. Sing. Laugh.

Live.

(that was souposed to be inspirational. just so you know)

No Day But 2 Day!

Meaning of life is to enjoy it. To get out there and experience all we wish to before our time comes to an end. To fulfill our every desire and dream in pursuit of happiness. To live each day as though it were our last. "You must live for today, because yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come." you never know what will happen.
It's just unfortunate that, it doesn't come as easily as it is said. Other's expectations, faults, and just everyday difficulties, even if it's the tiniest of things, can hold it all back. But what do i know, I'm only 19. Apparently that's too young to fulfill plenty of my dreams.

My friend and I were discussing this and I'll tell you what I told her: I believe the meaning of life is to not try to figure out a meaning!! Life is like a journey we take eventually leading us to death (our destination) Thats where we can truly reflect and fiure out the meaning of our life because we completed our life here on earth. I dont think anyone whose alive can say for a fact what the meaning of life is. I think the PURPOSE of life on the other hand is something we can try to figure out. Each of us has our own view of our lives and what kinda life we wanna live. Me, I just want to take each day at face value and experience more than just a normal, routine. I think life is about having fun, working, playing, laughing, loving, having adventures and thats all we should focus on really. is living life

No one knows the meaning of life! Some say you will know when you are die or some thing. But what I think of life is that it is hard. life can be full happiness and sadness. The dictionary meaning of life is
"The quality that makes living animals and plants different from dead organisms and inorganic matter."

I think there is no meaning in life, but that which we give it ourselves.

The former statement explained:

The meaning of life is the purpose each of us see fit for our lives to carry out from and through our own experiences. Therefore, life's meaning is what you give enough importance to be feeling of use to humanity. Life's meaning imbroglio is not to be answered in a detailed way, because it is different for all of us.

christin, you will have to write your own book. The meaning of life is unconditional love."God dwells within you as you". you have union with God in unconditional love within your heart. Your purpose in life is to awaken to this realization. Your duty is to express this unconditional love to the best of your ability. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunshine, so to are all things contained within the light of Gods unconditional love. God bless's those who seek to understand him. Love whistle britches
