OK there are many computers you could get for that price but the biggie-st mistake a person make is that thy want one with someones name on it.wrong it dose not make it better and not one part in the computer with someones make do thy make the part dell as of last year become the second worst computer to buy emachine is the worst but anyway computers with someone name on is what called a throw away unit after a few years it obsolete where as if you go to a computer store and have it built for you. you'll spend way less and a custom built computer will always be fully upgradeable and have more room for expansion.now about vista if you know computers well then you know that you don't want vista right now.I'm a Microsoft bata tester and vista is awesome but vista have more problems then any other o/s out there when all the bugs are out the vista will be the next gen. but in-tell then stay far away from it i own a computer and laptop repair business and VISTA have brought me 87% of my business in the last 2 months but if you good at reinstalling o/s's then have fun with vista

Go with Dell. It's a good product, fairly good support ( depends on which country you get when you call) .
