Hey-

My husband and I have a squeaky clean record on the road and with everything else. However I noticed if we want to rent a vehicle for a vacation I have to pay 25.00 extra a day. I am married and own a home....does any of this matter? Are there any loop holes? Thanks!

Actually 25.00 a day wouldn't bother me, but we want to go on a 2 wk vaca and that would total to 350.00 ouch! we would rather not spend that if we don't have to.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any rental car agencies that will rent to people under 25 without a surcharge.

It doesn't matter if you're married or own a home. Sorry.

Rules are rules, it is just like insurance they will tell you that the cut off age is 25, but in my opinion they should look at the whole picture.

I see people everyday that are over the age of 25 and should not even be driving in the first place, I guess someday the law and rules will change but for now we live and dye by some of these stupid laws and rules.

all of them will, the value of their criminal accountability insurance for persons below 25 is extensive. As you realize your insurance expenditures will drop like a rock the 2nd you swap 25, yet are outrageously intense in the past hand.

Aren't there a few that the age restriction is 21? I thought it was that way awhile ago. I would check with each of the big companies (Avis, Hertz, National, Enterprise...)
