The latest news is he killed them all with the Glock and the .22 was not used. He must have had to re-load numerous times. There had to be at some point an opportunity to stop him, right? Does anyone have any input on this?

Here is my speculation. He could have been using one gun to keep people at bay while reloading the gun he was doing the shooting with. It is tricky but possible to reload magazines into a gun while holding another gun. This is probably why he had a .22, since the grip on a .22 is smaller diameter than a Glock grip.
Here too is my thinking as to how he got so many people. I think that once he got into one class room and went on to another room. That second room if it was under emergency lock down. Which to me means that the kids inside the room are stuck with no exit, should the shooter get through the door.
You see this last fall my sons school district was put under lock down because of a threat just like we saw in full color reality yesterday. I had thought of my son trapped inside his room and some fool going through the door. My son has no exits other than the one door into and out of the room. A trap if I ever saw one.

I was not there, but I have to think that nobody expected to hear gunshots while they were sitting in class, so it probably took a minute to realize what was going on. By the time anybody was able to recognize what was going on, it was too late to stop him. Also, since he wasn't yelling and screaming, nobody could probably tell where he was headed, so nobody near him could leave.
As far as reloading several times, I saw an article on the news where a guy that was in the class heard him drop an empty clip and put a new one in. It only takes a second to do that.
I'm not sure that there was an opportunity to stop him. He had chained the doors of the building closed according to early reports. Also, Once he got going, those poor students in the class rooms were like sitting ducks, and the only thing they could do was try to hide.

Easy: He reloaded. Who was going to stop him? It is not like he was surrounded by Marines or something. These were students, panicked, and trying to get away. In addition to this, a Glock is not very difficult to reload. It is not like you have to put the bullets in individually or anything. You don't need more than one gun to kill a lot of people in a public place. You just need a lot of bullets.

Nobody was thinking about attacking him. They were all panicked and trying to get away. Imagine yourself in that situation. You would want to get out of that place as fast as you can rather risk getting shot. Because surely if he seen u trying to storm him he would shoot u down. Its not a win situation, we must accept this fact. No one could of stopped him.

a clock can be easily reloaded,he probably had tons of clips, most of the killings must have been close range its not easy to hit anythang with a 9mm while running around histerically killing anybody in sight. now if all the rest of them students had of had they own 9mm would this have happened...nope. if every person was armed on campus would a nutcase try to pull a cowardly act like this ? hell no... because he would have gotten his asz shot off. If I was a student I might want to carry a small piece myself just to have a fighting chance.

I think by all of us giving this crime attention like this he's still getting exactly what he wanted. . . Attention.
