Seriously, what do men look for or qualities in a woman?

Depends on the stage of life. As a young man I wanted to protect this tiny, petite ,cute, lil gal I had my eye on. A few years later I wanted her undivided attention ( on my terms of course) Then kids come along and it is rare to see each other and life becomes busy. Then the kids are gone. They you find this new person living with you and she reminds you of this tiny,petite, cute, gal you used to have you eye on.

I'll be darned! I knew she looked familiar! It's a darn good thing neither of us sees as well as we used to but I think I am pretty much right back to where I was 36 years ago.

Other thank that, no one really knows what a man wants and he doesn't either. If we were all that predictable, this world wouldn't be any fun. I still think it is the stage of life you find him in. He does pretty much know he needs a woman so give him credit for that.
