...get ready to get happy...again!!!!
Columbia Pictures, in conjuction with Sony Pictures, is on the fast track to produce yet another 'Pink Panther' film; the proposed script is in the middle of it's second rewrite (the writers for 'Hitch', '50 First Dates', and 'National Treasure' are giving the story a real good fine-tuning).
No director has been attached yet, and although Steve Martin has not been contractually obligated to star in the film, he has mentioned in interviews, that "you can count me in".
With the reportedly unexpected above-average box office receipts of the the first 'Panther', it's a good guess that, barring a good storyline, couple with Steve Martin's trademark comedy stylings, the second 'Panther' should be well worth waiting for!!!

There might be. I dont know cause there use to be really old Pink Panther movies like Revenge of the Pink Panther and stuff. So it is possible.
