Basically if they were to arrest you, would they at least let you go through the proceedings of divorce and then maybe take you in. Hope you can help with this.

If there is a warrant out for your arrest, you can be arrested at any time, in any place. How much trouble they'll go to for the arrest depends on what the warrant is for - murder? or unpaid parking tickets? If you go to the courthouse, though, don't be surprised if you are arrested while you are there, probably after your divorce proceedings.

You can try it...but I'd say you'll get arrested first.

Of course, if you need to go to court, they'll generally let you have a pass to go to court from jail. But the warrant takes precedence. Divorce is secondary to the fact that you're wanted for a criminal act.

If there is a warrant out against you, you can be arrested at any time, in any place (except the sanctuary of a church).
They would be unlikely to let yougo through the divorce proceedings as they would have no way of ensuring that you wouldn't skip out of the courtroom.

Chances are they will let you finish the divorce then arrest you for the warrant

If you have a warrant, and the law finds you, you are going to be arrested, divorce or not.

just last week a co-worker mentioned that when he went to his divorce hearing, it turned out his soon to be ex- had an outstanding ticket. He had to get up and go to the courthouse and pay it and then return for the proceeding to continue. So, no they will make you clear it first. This was in Texas.

divorce is held in family court. a warrant comes from the criminal court. there is no way the fanily court judge knows you have a criminal record. it's not the same but do go get your warrant quashed. it would suck if you got picked up prior to the date of your hearing.

Yes they're going to arrest you and likely you will have to set a new date for the divorce court...
