Yes, men and women can be just friends. I have had male friends most of my life.

About 90% of my friends are guys, so yes a male and female can be friends without anything else going on. Also, it really depends on the person if I can open up to them or not, not the sex. In most cases though, I feel comfortable talking to more guys then I do girls, probably because I don't really talk with many girls though considering my job.

It doesn't matter all that much to me-- male or female. I try to look at the person's heart rather than all that other stuff.
And yes, you can be friends with the opposite sex without any of the "other stuff"!

I'm not sure on this one. I've never really had any guys as friends so I don't know who would be easier for me to open up to. I've always had females as friends. I think a male and female can be just friends as long as they both agree to be only that and there's no sex involved. I mean no friends with benefits now that would ruion a friendship but I believe it could happen. They have to agree on just being friends and nothing more and stick to that.

Wow...tough ones. I can share with both, but the women are my favorite...I think they understand and listen without wanting to *fix* everything. I have only had one good male friend as an adult where there wasn't *any* of the other stuff creeping up. Could even cuddle with him and feel safe and yes, he's straight! So far, anyway, only one male friend like that.

I have no guy friends and never have so im more comfortable opening up to my friends/my girls and yes there are many friendships at my school that are male and female based and they dont have any of the other stuff

it depends on the person. sometimes i feel better talking to guys though. i have no idea why. and YES u can be friends with someone of the opposite sex! all that other stuff is,well, extra?

I can talk to anyone. I am a pretty open person. I think men and women can be friends if both are married (not to each other, although spouses are friends too). Some people can be friends before marriage, but I think true friendship is rare.

It's much easier for me to talk to women without feeling judged. With men you know that you're supposed to act a certain way and I can't open up knowing that. I have many male friends it's just I don't tell them my deepest darkest secrets. And I have thought about what it would be like to date them so I think you still think about it, bu if you're not attracted to them then its easier to be friends.
