It depends on what you mean by letting you off easy. I would lecture you about your temper and remind you that it may have been an accident, but it was done in anger and that is NOT acceptable. Then I would make you fix the wall, make you pay to have a professional come fix the wall. You did it you should be responsible for fixing it.

Let me get this right ... You did not mean to:1. look at the wall, 2. lift up your feet, and 3. forcefully thrust it into the structure therefore puncturing it with effective efficiency!

Being destructive is NEVER a good way to handle anger. I'd let you off, but make you patch the hole and paint the wall.
