Why is it that most wives/women, enjoy being spanked by their husbands, but only AFTER the fact? In the same way that boundries that a man places on his woman to protect the relationship provide security. A man who cares enough to provide boundry's provides security as well. Agree? disagree?

Okay...I think I know what you mean. I don't like to be spanked for punishment, but after the fact, I can't seem to keep my hands off of my husband. But it is not the spanking that makes him so attractive to me. It is the authority...the aura....the edge the ability and right to punish me gives to him. I do like play spankings, but I like them as much when they're going on as I do after the fact. Is that what you mean?

Perhaps your question should be why do some women asked to be spanked by their husbands. People will not like this I could give a rat's asp; there are women out there who literally ask for it. I've met women who literally do ask to be beaten; I don't believe the realize that is true about themselves. I understand the boundaries. Scenario: husband tells wife not to talk to so and so. A good wife will do as she is told. Yes I agree with you. So you want to know from us do we believe in obedience and or submission as some coin the word. Yes some women do, I do. There are others as well. Do I believe in that spanking thing? Yes, but you see I am too smart to get spanked; always obey and never ask questions. So anything else you want to know?

I'm sorry you're in this situation. But, I kinda get where your wife is coming from. It sounds like you're being a little bit of a wimp. My take on this is that women like it when a man "takes control." (within bounds, of course) Don't ask if you can hug. Man up. Just do it. If you hug her and she rejects you, then that's something for the marriage counselor to figure out. Sounds like there's passive aggressive behavior on both parts. It's the worst kind, I think, because you can't move forward in life if you're worried about protecting yourself. Try not to be so wrapped up in her reaction to you - keep your focus on yourself. It's the only thing you can control. Good luck.

I think personally you do not know what you are asking. First off I believe making boundaries a form of control and you should never control someones's life. If you have a wife who is faithful and loving and supportive of you then you should be the same for them. I know my wife likes when I spank her bottom clothed or unclothed and so do I for that fact. But out of fun never as a form of punishment. You sound like you have some control issues you should get a handle on.

In my case, with my partner, I absolutely agree that the boundaries he creates make me feel very secure, and the fact that he provides these boundaries for me is a constant reminder of how much he cares for me.
A spanking provides me with the same sense of being loved, protected and cared for.

i don't believe that most women enjoy being spanked...i don't mind a loving smack or two on my rump, but, spanked? well, that is something most hold for their children...wives are not children.
'boundries' should not have to be set by anyone...you do that when you take vows
