I went to a restaraunt in Bellingham, Washington, the food was ok, but at the end of the meal, the waitress said she was "too busy" to split our check (there were 4 of us). I'm sorry, but I have waitressed, and I would NEVER tell a customer I was too busy to do anything! She wasn't even a good waitress to begin with. I eventually had to go through, write out what everyone had, and put it line by line on the back of the receipt for her, and it still took 15 minutes for us to get our change back!

This is funny, and we actually wrote a snarky letter to the restaurant management because our experience was so bad....

At the Chart House in Philly. My husband ordered Alaska king crab legs and the waiter came out with a giant plate full of gross crab bodies and maybe one or two small legs. My husband said this is a plate of crab bodies, I ordered crab legs. The waiter said, I swear, "That's the way they come." My husband said, I don't think so and asked him to send the manager over. We showed the manager the plate and he took it back to the kitchen. Eventually a real plate of crab legs came out, after I was virtually done with my dinner.

Then we went to the bar and I ordered an espresso. The bar was empty and everyone knows it takes like 20 seconds to make an espresso. The bartender said, oh, that will be about 20 minutes because the machine is all the way over there (pointing to the other side of the restaurant). We looked at each other like what the F?? So I said, forget about it, I'll have an Irish coffee. The bartender pours a cup of black coffee and whiskey and puts the cup in front of me. No whipped cream, sugar, spoon, nothing! Again, my husband and I looked at each other incredulously and said, how about some cream and sugar and a spoon there buddy?

We went home in shock and wrote a sarcastic letter about "crab bodies" and bad bartending to the Chart House, we got a quick reply from the manager and he asked us to come back, promising that if we identifed ourselves, he'd "make it worth our while." We never went back and still have to laugh at the phrase crab bodies!

As far as the food I would say Skipper's, the food was so greasy that I ended up getting sick and I was vomiting halfway through the night.

Service wise I would say Shari's Restaurant cause the servers are rude and unfriendly and they don't check on their patrons as often as they should.

I can't think of any bad atmosphere experiences I've had at a restaurant

We went to a restaurant in Eugene, OR with a bunch of our friends. It was a pizza place called BJ's. The waitress took 20 minutes just to take our order then she only actually ordered 2 of what we asked for. She argued with us when we asked for a more indepth detail of menu items and when we complained to the manager, she just rolled her eyes at us and told us to deal with it. When we finally got our food, it was cold and undercooked.

Needless to say, we didn't give her a tip and she tripped one of my friends on the way out the door. I will never go back there again.

Well my family and I went to a restaurant in Jacksonville, FL, called La Nopalera. I had been there before and they had decent service but this time, we got a new worker. When I ordered, he got my food all wrong. I told him again and he still got it wrong! Then he finally got it right. When he brought us our bill it said $3246.00! I said this is incorrect and he apparently didn't speak English so he walked away. We went back up front and got it fixed by the manager. I never went there again!

Our worst had to be Sushi Mambo in Napa, CA. We went in early, virtually no customers there. It took forever to get our menus. We ordered (I had sushi and he had steak), and it took forever for our beers. Then all of a sudden his steak arrives, but no sushi for me! The waitress assures me it will be coming soon, so I told my husband to go on and eat. He finished his steak, the waitress wasn't around to get another beer. She finally shows up after 45 minutes and said it'll be just a couple more minutes. (Isn't sushi raw???) I said just box it up for me. But she said it'll be right out! I said to box it and bring the bill. Then my plate showed up! So we had to flag her down again and say NO, BOX IT UP! She did, and then apologized because the chef was doing training and tasting with the servers and that's what took so long. Didn't matter to us, we left her a dollar and left. And we had somewhere else to go that night, and the sushi was ruined by the time we got home so I never did eat it!

We tell all our friends and relatives to never eat there.

I had an extremely advantageous turkey club sandwich on the hotel eating place for the duration of a bypass u . s . holiday with my mom. some hours later interior the hotel room I grew to alter into unwell at the two ends - all night. via mid morning i substitute into relatively ok.

Ruby Tuesday's, on the island of O'ahu, city of Kane'ohe Hawaii (Windward Mall). Food wasn't that great. Our waiter stole my husband's $400 prescription eye glasses. He left them on the table, 5 minutes later we came back in to get them & it was GONE. It was so obvious. Manager was rude, he tried to find the waiter & came back to tell us he is "suddenly no where to be found". I called to complain to Corporate Office & this really rude Japanese Man called me back saying he was investigating on it. He laughed at me & told me he'd call me back. That was 2 months ago. HE NEVER CALLED BACK. It sucks to have a waiter who you can't trust to actually serve you & pretend to be a good employee when in the long run he's nothing but a theif.

Overall, in the US, it has to be Waffle House. Always greasy and dirty. The sanitary measures in these establishments are quite questionable. In the state of Texas, Pit Grill is the equivalent. Unfortunately, for those who smoke and like to stay out late (like myself), there is little choice to go elsewhere-especially in small towns. My favorite alternative would have to be IHOP.

My husband and I went to a mexican restaurant in castle rock, colorado, Cory ordered a burrito and it had huge chunks of paper in it they didnt peel off of the frozen meat. It doesnt seem that bad, but when you take a bite and chew on paper then have to pull it out of your mouth while your trying to enjoy yourself, it really sucks.
