Anne Rice
Christopher Paolini
Mercedes Lackey
Margaret Weiss
Tracy Hickman
Kelly Armstrong
S.L.Veihl
Brian Lumley
David Brin

And probably half a dozen or more others. I like books, I like fantasy, sci fi and horror......especially a good vampire romance or erotica type novel. I need books like I need air...read probably one regular length novel in 2 days or sometimes less. There are so many good authors out there I'm forgetting and I feel bad for that. I also write my own stuff...and yes I've been published in magazines and stuff. Still working on my book!

Alice Hoffman for her unique vision and ability to blend magic, irony and romance. She has published a total of sixteen novels, two books of short fiction, and eight books for children and young adults. She's probably best known for her book, Practical Magic, which was made into a movie.

Anne Rice. The way she writes, describing the characters and their surroundings always manages to completely draw me into their world. You get to truly know, love, and feel for her characters.
I also love Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christopher Golden, Stephen King and of course J.K. Rowling. I better stop typing names or we might be here for awhile... ;o)

Kurt Koch or RA Torrey. They're accurate and logical. They present you information in such a manner that you can make your own decisions while expressing their own opinions also.
