Stop being so racial intolerant. If you really wanted to know what happened about this tragedy, you should first read about it on periodicals. And if you did so you should realize that the man was KOREAN, not CHINESE. And just because he is Asian does not make him a BOY.
The nature of this question also makes me furious. What do you mean by "Columbine season?" Will you be happy if we tell you, "yes, it is columbine season, and many more will die of school shootings?" Rather than hanging around on the internet you should really go home and read the newspaper and stop being so racist and please have a little grief for this tragedy.

The anniversary of Columbine is this week but it didn't have anything to do with the Virginia Tech shootings. The shooter was a very disturbed 23 year old student, a senior, english major and resident alien of the U.S. His race was Korean, but this was not about race, he didn't select his victims based on their race. He was just really disturbed, made his plan, and carried it out to a very scary result. Go to CNN.com and read about the story if you want the facts.

He was Korean and actually historically most mass killings (Waco, Columbine, Jim Jones) are done around this time. It is the week of Hitler's birthday.

He was Korean, not Chinese, but it didn't have anything to do with his race, so it doesn't matter what race he was. He had some obvious emotional issues and chose to murder people instead of seeking help for his problems. What a horrible thing to put yourself in the seat of God and think you have the right to take another human being's life!

He was Korean, not Chinese. I believe the news is showing that he is yet another social outcast that can not find his place in todays society, so he takes his problems out on innocent people.

WHO THE HELL IS SAYING HE IS CHINESE????????? Geez, why don't you lot read/watch the news, instead of listening to gossip. Get your fact straight!!! He is Korean!!! And they have already broadcasted on the news that the possible reason was because he wasn't mentally healthy.

Probably because he was a loner and nobody liked him. He was most likely had a problem with him. Possibly somebody insulted him and he was offended.That was probably what made him go into a mode which he could not have control over himself and his actions.
