Tell them that you will tried your best, and that you will study harder next time. There will be other tests, it's not like this will be the only test out of the entire year! You could also tell them how the class average did, in most classes, a 65 is actually pretty good!

Tell them you would like to talk with them about your math test you recently took. Show them the test and tell them you will definitely try harder. How hard was the test? Did you study and practice the equations enough? Did you understand the material and did you ask the teacher questions to help you out?Did you get enough rest the night before you took the test?Be honest and keep on trying .

Tell them in Octal (Base8) because it's101.
Don't tell them in Hexadecimal (Base 16) becuse it's only 41
Or you could just tell them.
