Yes, there are a lot of them out there depending on the perceptive you are looking at. I believe a human being by all standards should possess the following qualities : honest, polite, patient, accommodative, tolerance and above all should be God fearing and show love for one another. Though it is not easy to posses all these qualities, but a human being should have some of these attributes. According to Aristotle, he said every human being is a beast, but the society in which he/she live has impact in their lifes. Therefore, there are a lot of them out there.

'Nature engenders nature, and nature only, in its reproduction and in its life. The rose brings forth more roses, never anything ‘unnatural’ or ‘unrose-like’. The human being creates humanity, but with this difference: what is human can at the same time be either ‘human’ or ‘inhuman’. The results of human action range from creations which fill our hearts and souls with lasting strength and delight, to crimes whose shame no atonement can wipe off the face of the earth.'

There are a few milling around this site. There are, however, quite a few cattle and sheep masquerading as humans. I haven't decided quite where I fit in, yet, though I don't believe it's with the cattle and sheep. Still not 100% sure about the humans, though, either.

Technically, the only qualification to be human is to be a Homo-sapien.

On a physical level, opposable thumbs are required.

On a mental level, the capacity to reason (though many do not) is required.

Let's see, I meet all those requirements, so by process of logic, I'm human.

That would depend on your definition of a human being.

Yep. I'm a meat eating, war mongering, short sighted, self-serving, polluting human bean and the only thing in this universe that exists outside of us is what I have been told, read, or taught.

What do you want?

I'm looking for a plastic beetle called Ursula. She'd borrowed some CDs of mine, and I really want them back. Particularly the Celine Dion album... That was my favourite, and the pesky bug never did give it me back. Bloody polystyrene bugs...
