Im sure some ignorant soles will. But most Americans understand that demonic people exsist among every culture. I love Koreans, dont let the views of a few spark fears or anger towards us that still view you as true Americans.

The middle eastern are probably happy about this because now the Asians are the hated in the country. It's sad that the media always use South Korean killer instead of Virginia Tech Killer. If it was a white guy they wouldn't say white killer. I'm asian and I get negative reaction already and I live in California. Give me a break. Asians are naturally quiet anyway so now everytime I sit in class minding my own business, they think I'm planning a horrendous attack. It sucks, but that's the society we live in, maybe some Mexicans will do something crazy and the attention can go to them soon.

O.k Anybody could have done that, Asian or not. Your culture doesn't matter what things you do. It's not like Asia told him to go do that, it was his choice. Even if he weren't asian he would have still done it. I think South Korea is porbably very ashamed of what that man did, because i know so many so many nice asians. So if your a good person, I wouldn't worry about being discriminated. And if they discriminate you, they need a life.

It's possible, but I'd like to say that college students are more mature than that. Asian kids in high schools and under may be more likely to be discriminated against.

I would hope not. If people discriminate against an entire nationality just because of a tragic event ONE person committed, that's just plain ignorance. I'd like to think people are smarter than that.

I can say that, this has not change my opinions of asians. asians are the most peaceful and sincere groups i know. that's why there are less of asians in prison then any other ethnic groups. i hope people won't make quick assuming opinions because of this awful incident.

i also feel that the media is focusing too much on this killer. I strongly feel that the focus most be on the victims and heroes. Isn't this what the killer wanted? attention? and the media is giving him what he wants.

No. I think the media is grasping for something to talk about.

It's clear this kid had a mental health problem - and that he did it because he was mentally ill - not because he was born in South Korea.

It's kind of insulting to think that regular people can't see that.

I hope not. This person was obviously unstable and that is not because of his race - it's because he had mental problems - which anyone can have. It would be more dumb to blame all Asians for his action than it was to blame all Muslims for the actions of radicals!

I think psychopaths should be discriminated against. Just my opinion.

The unfortunate reality. When a person of color does something against another person not the same color , well, you get the picture.
