Short version, Yes.

Slightly longer: Insane people who somehow think they will get attention, or get their 15 minutes of glory, will imitate the gunman at Virginia Tech. Until they get tired of it.

I wouldn't say copycat events necesarily, but there will definately be threats.

I remember a year after Columbine massacre, there was a threat at my highschool.

We had tons of undercover police officers all over the school for the whole day. I am glad they took it seriously.

I remember for 2 of my classes, that I was the only one that showed up out of 25-30 kids.

There were a lot of kids and parent's that weren't going to risk it.

It's a sad fact, but once others who feel the need for noteriety at any cost will see how much press coverage this is getting and feel that they need to do one better to get the attention for themselves. One of the threats made today at a school mentioned in their note "If you think yesterday was bad in Virginia, you ain't seen nothing yet." How sad is that? Now all the schools and students have to be fearful that someone is going to try and do one better than this one...

That's sick !!! This was a pure evil demonic act !!!
God's Kingdom is our only hope. Man has dominated man to his injury the Bible says. Man does not have the answers to solve the problems we all face. The more we look into history the more we realize man has not learned from history. These are wicked people, and only God can clean that up.
