Those who are responsible for ensuring that teachers get a yearly increase in their salaries! The idea of NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND is a good thing, but all the pressure of making this work is on the teachers - they are not making parents or students be accountable! Just today, my principal was upset because when she saw the grades for the 5th six weeks- students were railing in F's!!! She thought there were too many of them.....and we said - they did not do the work, many spent 30-50% in ISS (In school suspension) or Out of School Suspension and we, the teachers are being blamed for their failure. This is a great annoyance. If we don't change the grades - we know who will - principals don't want to look bad!

nothing right now I feel pretty good.

But, something that Annoyed me earlier today is...I am sitting in class after gym, all sweaty and hot and dying out of dehydration. My mouth is dry and I am fantasizing myself drinking a nice bottle of what ever. ANYTHING! so thirsty! THen all of a sudden the teacher stops yapink her head off and gets a bottle of COKE! Then slowly unscrews it and...I am sitting there SUFFERING watching her slowly gulp down the tasty soda and smacking her lips. Then she SETS the bottle down on the table RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!! TORTURE! COME ON! That is cruel!!!!! And I am just sitting there for the whole period looking at that cold, bottle of coke. And then I start daydreaming of how nice that coke would taste in my mouth.....hmmm.....
(Hours passes by before I got a chance to get a drink.)
NOW THAT IS ANNOYING!

I'd have to say it's a good time/bad time with my husband right now. The doctor just released him to return to work after 2 weeks of being under a doctor's care and now he's driving me crazy talking about the mess he's going to go back too.
