the reciprocal of 2 1/6???i know how 2 do reciprocals..i just don't know to do a whole number and a fraction combined.

First combine: 2/1+1/6= 12/6 + 1/6 = 13/6
The reciprocal of this is simply 6/13.

Combine into one fraction 2 1/6 = 13/6 so the reciprocal is 6/13.

(6/6 = 1 whole, so 2 = 12/6. 12/6 + 1/6 = 13/6.)

turn the mixed number into an improper fraction, which is 13/6, so the reciprocal is 6/13
