Thinking of taking out one of those postal addresses with the high street company Mail Boxes Etc (MBE). Does anyone know how much it costs to have them collect your mail? Just staring up a new business and trying to get all the prices together tonight. Thanks in advance.

MBE don't offer a PO Box or anything. It's a proper address, live County House etc. The reason I'm thinking of using one is that our work is based at home at the moment and as I stay in a flat I don't think it looks very professional to have a flat number on your address. Nothing dodgy!

I haver a mailbox with MBE, and don't vuse it for 'dodhgy' purposes. I use it as a postal address to get packages and business mail.

Basically, you pay a rent of X money for the year (Prices vary from individual shop), and you give your mail address of:

Office {insert Box number}
Street address of MBE centre
Town
Postcode

Royal mail then delivers your mail to them.

They do not "Collect" your mail, they receive your mail.

To be honest, these days anyone using a Mail Box (instead of a real address) is assumed to have something to hide and thus regarded as a crook.

NB> The Inland Revenue are wise to Mail Boxes and your real name & address details will be passed on to them as soon as you 'sign up'
