by his insane ranting ..........the girls on the team were well spoken and didn't come across as being all that offended, they didn't even care till this "reverend" blew it out of the water and played the race card. If you watched or listened to Imus, you would know that he is indeed and equal opportunity offender, granted, a less than nice comment, but it was not the only one, he did it every day......every day to all.....I think that in additon to kids with cancer, autism and the recovering vets from the war that he has helped so very much are not the only ones who will lose here. I feel very badly for african americans who will undoubtably be associated with this man and once again, become the "they" or "those people", everyone lost here in my opinion, what about YOU?......

Al SHarpton only wants to defend what he has known all his life just because he is playing the race card doesnt mean that he excentric. But i do beileve that he was way too overreactive in this matter what he said not only blew up the situation but made american look at the racism still going on in our country. The way african americans feel about this is not out raged or angry but frustrated that thing is still going on and that a fool like AL SHARPTON has to speak on the behalf of those who speak clear enough for themselves. Yes what Don Imus said was racist but if he is fired why not lock up all the rednecks in the south if what there saying is wrong. But someone needs to bring the news of racism to the pulpit and if not Al Sharpton well someone needs to step up then for all blacks in the USA.

Sharpton's been rousing the rabble for decades... True "believers" pay him no-never-mind. Race relations will improve- in spite of him. He's just a "pretender" to a throne he doesn't deserve... :)

agreed totally. Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are holding back the black community by emphasizing race and keeping it in the public eye.
