Maybe they do it to other countries too, I don't know. I certainly wouldn't.

What is it that makes them think that's okay?

I was thinking: I appreciate your answer, I really do. However, I don't think you really understand what I am asking.

They are arrogant elitists who think that only a few have enough intelligence to know whats best for this country and the rest of us are drooling idiots that aren't enlightened as they are. You will find this kind of thinking on many college campuses.

Because it is easy to point the finger and criticize others. It is like a bully picking on someone smaller. It makes them feel better about themselves. The truth of it is, that most of these countries are very short sighted and don't have to look very far in their past to find similar tragic events that we could criticize just as easily. The point being that the old saying "If you live in a glass house, you shouldn't throw stones" holds true for everyone weither it is a person or county. It really is sad, that instead of offering condolences, some
offer criticism.

Because from where were sitting it just seems absurd, incredible that you could allow your wonderful country to just decay like this and do nothing.

When Australia had a massacre once [8 years ago] the goverment spent 400 million buying back all guns and made it almost impossible to purchase one - they took action.Since then how many massacres have we had?

Secondly Australia bans the advertsing of most drugs including SSRI's [anti deppresants] and so the general population are not as heavily prescribed on them.

Nobody bothers to reference the fact that this killer was on SSRI's when he committed his crime.

Nor do they mention that SSRI 's [anti depressants] have a strong connection with suicide and extreme homicide in the US.

Nor that All the gun related massacres over the past ten years have been committed by people on one of these drugs.

Because they are such a huge profitable industry any attempts to address this have been thrown out by the FDA or not mentioned on tv.

These drugs DO cause Akathisia, mental and physical agitation that sparks self-destructive, violent behavior. They can also induce dissociative reactions, making those who take the drugs INSENSITIVE to the consequences of their behavior.

I don't know many more massacres it will take for the US to realise this point, the drugs REMOVE emotional context.

Alot of them are banned in the UK.Yet the US advertises them on tv 24/7.The only country to do so.

I thank god everyday that I wasnt born in the US,it's a sick country that knows what its doing and does nothing.

This was a horrible tragedy and the person that did this will have to answer to God for his actions. No one else is to blame but this person that chose to take all those Innocent lives and then his own life. Just because you don't agree with someone or a certain Countries beliefs doesn't give you the right to go and murder people !!! This was a very demonic pure evil attack on innocent people. Jehovah's God's Kingdom is the only true hope for mankind. Man does not have the answers or the power to stop this. God is our only hope. I pray for the families that lost their children and loved ones over this senseless act of violence. I'm so sorry.

It's perfectly okay.

When women self-immolate (set fire to themselves at the insistence of their in-laws) in India, I think of it as a sad commentary on that society.

When women can't drive, work or be educated in muslim countries, I think of it as a bad place to live.

When educational institutions incubate cruelty and mistreatment of anyone who isn't in the 'in' crowd in US schools, I think of it as a bad reflection on the US society as a whole.

Don't pretend that this is an isolated incident that couldn't have been prevented. Our schools are filled with students carrying around bottled rage and poorly managed anger over being treated insensitively by both the administration and other students.

It's a problem that will just get worse until/unless it gets addressed properly, and that's not be installing metal detectors and making prisons out of the schools.

You have to understand that we love the USA, we grew up watching American TV.
You were our friend in just wars.
You were a leader in everything around the world, we admired you. (I can still remember entering the US for the first time, a dream for so many around the world

Then you got in with a bad crowd, you got arrogant, and we warned you not to go picking fights.
You became violent, always carrying guns, aways fast to use them in a fight.
You became hypocritical, (We need bombs, but you don't)

Suddenly we were embarrassed by your behavior, and wanted to distance ourselves from you. Like a family member we always loved, but went a little crazy.
That "tragic event" happens daily in many countries, with your blessing.

Because they're biased against the U.S., really. A lot of Germans I knew years back liked to talk about how crime was nonexistent in their country as opposed to the U.S. crime rate (this was back in the early 90's). I had to remind them that the Polizei (German Police) had the highest brutality rate on the planet. They weren't happy hearing it, but they got the point.

They always like to twist it around and put the blame on someone else. We should be blaming the gunman and I think because the gunman killed himself that they aren't talking about him. I know that things need to be looked over in the country about gun control but stop blaming other's for the shooting. This was the work of one person only and it is was the student who went on the shooting spree and killed everyone else.

Because there is something wrong with them. They have warped minds. And they have nothing better to do.
