I suppose many generations have felt sorry for the next generation, but you don't feel that way until you are old enough to have produced the atomic bomb, or other weaponized gases. If you do feel like the next generation well have it harder, does that necessarily mean they will be worse off for it?
I think it is like everything else, you can make your chooses simple or very complex in the future in your own life time, but you can't go forward and live it for them nor can you go backwards and prepare the future better for them. It is like all of life, you have to accept it the way it is, not necessarily the way it seems to be, or the way you would like it to be, but you have to play the cards that were dealt to you in the moment.

It'll STILL will be Bushs fault so lets's get that out of the way. Seriously though yes I do feel sorry for them AND the "current crop" of kids. This country has lost so much in so little time & to paraphrase a song: "It ain't comin' back again." When I was younger I used to wonder what it would be like but I can see it was nothing like this. Also people we can't blame politicians for every problem. We should have been watching & being involved more so it wouldn't have been like this. In the end we are the ones who will have to answer.

hell no they are the lucky ones you pessimist, just look back in history civilization only gets better not worse, just a few years ago they had child labor, no ac, no electricity , no internet, a lot more wars, horrible governments, disease and etc, may i go on and on, and you think global warming is bad LMAO, who cares about a few beaches and a couple of animals dying out, even if the usa becomes a desert canada will be the next big thing, you have to look at it from a majority point of view the whole world, just think what the playstations will be like in a hundred years
