(2/7) * (3/4) Mulitiply the numerator by the other numerator and then denominator by the other denominator and we get
= (2*3)/(7*4)
= (6/28) This now can be simplified.
= (3/14) how did i get this? Well 6 divided by 2 gives 3 and 28 divided by 2 gives 14. If you get a calculator and divide 3/14 you will get the same answer if you were to divide 6 by 28.

(4/1) * (5/6) Mulitiply the numerator by the other numerator and then denominator by the other denominator and we get
= (4 * 5)/(6*1)
= 20/6 this can be simplified to
= 10/3 This is your final answer.

If you need further clarification or more help email me or im me. Good Luck.

2/7 x 3/4 =
The numerator multiply each other.
The denominator multiply each other.
Put the product of the numerators on top of the fraction bar in your answer.
Put the product of the denominators at the bottom of the fraction bar in your answer.
So, 2 x 3 = 6 and 7 x 4 = 28.
Or 6/28. Simplify the fraction to have 3/14.
Repeat this process for the second problem.
4 x 5 = 20 and 1 x 6 = 6.
So, 20/6. Simplify that fraction to have 10/3 or in mixed fraction 3 and 1/3.

2/7 * 3/4 = 2*3 / 7*4 (why?) = 6/28 = 3/14

4/1 * 5/6 = 4*5 / 1*6 = 20/6 = 10/3 = 3 1/3

You should just ask your teacher when you're confused from now on, because it does get harder, unfortunately.
