Yeah I think he will go 2 either the Raiders with first pick or the Browns with 3rd pick.

If there are no guarantees that either Randy Moss or Jerry Porter being back in Oakland next year, it would not be a shocker if Al Davis decides he wants Calvin Johnson, which isn't a terrible pick considering he's projected as the best player in this year's draft, but if those two are coming back, Russell is their guy. Quinn is probably more polished as a quarterback, but Russell fits the system of being able to launch it downfield. If Moss can put up AND shut up for a couple seasons, there is a chance he could return to his glory days back with Minnesota when all he had to do was run down the field with no route running involved, and Russell can gunsling it 60 yards downfield.

The Raiders are deep in talks with the Lions about getting Josh McNown. The only problem is that the Raiders want to swap picks for him, and the Lions want to trade down, not up. I think that in the end, the Raiders will select Calvin Johnson. Andrew Walter, as bad as he's been, was supposed to be a first round pick until he separated his shoulder his senior year, and fell down everybody's draft boards. I think that with Lane Kiffen being an ex-QB's coach and all, he'll really want to have a shot at working with Walter, and give him the best receiver to catch whatever he throws.

Since the Raiders are owned and managed by the same idiot Al Davis no one really knows for sure who they are taking with the 1st pick.

The Raiders are still currently trying to negotiate multiple deals that could seriously affect the outcome of who they take with the 1st pick. As of today if non of those deals do through they will have to take Russell over Johnson.

No. I am a huge Raiders fan and I don't think they will. They are interested in trading for Luke McCown from the Lions which means they want to get a QB so they dont have to select Russel. Also I hear the new coach likes Walters and with the recent additions to the OL he could do good this year. Bottom line is it comes down to what Al Davis wants.... and from past experiences expect the unexpected when it comes to Al Davis's draft choice - but I hear he loves Calvin Johnson. (Raiders could also pick up Culpepper who the Dolphins are likely to release if they get Green - imagine Culpepper to Moss again).

Despite what all you youngsters in here think, Al Davis is a genius, and he will have this offense humming in no time. I look for them to take Russell regardless of what they want in a QB. Porter is happy and with a QB, Moss will be too. I like the fact that everyone still thinks they would take a WR. All you people that think that, go debate some other team. The offense is just one good Head coach and coaching staff away from doing some damage. This team isn't that bad, it was their previous coaching.

I Definitely think so. The Raiders are crazy if they don't pick him. He's better than Brady Quinn and they don't need Calvin Johnson. He's got the size and skills. I can see him in a Raiders uniform.

I like the rumor I heard on Yahoo Sports that the Raiders will trade with the Bucs, and take Brady Quinn, and the Bucs take CJ.
