Nope, I can't see him doing it. Jim Carey is at his best when he's big and bold and waaaaaay out there. He wold be able to get the general physicality down, but not the subtle nuances. With Carnage, I imagine you'd want an actor with tighter control who can also pull off the big physical slapstick that the character is capable of.
I could picture Christian Bale in the role, but I guess he's already signed on to another comic book hero. Maybe Andy Serkis, if they went with a totally CG Carnage? He has a really good way of making himself become the character he's playing. You can see the subtle motions that show bigger throught processes in his acting.
Edit: Bionicbookworm is right: I could totally see Jim Carey as Deadpool! He would be perfect for that role!

Jim Carey is my favorite actor of all time, but he tried playing a crazy bad guy in one of those batman movie that came out in the 1990's. i Remember how bad it sucked

ya other person is right christian slater would be good, but if there using topher grace as venom then edward norton is perfect for carnage

Yes! Jim Carrey would most definitely and absolutely play Carnage in the Spider-Man movie series! He would be awesome!

Carnage has that sociopath and psychopath personality and Jim can pull those off it would be a mix of all his characters in one he would make an excellent Carnage

this is a tricky question. All of his video clips are helpful. he's so freakin humorous. Ace Ventura : puppy Detective (and while Nature Calls). have been the 1st that got here to strategies. it incredibly is hilarious. A Jim Carrey classic!

No he is to thin and just not what Carnage is mentally as well a physically.
