the madman that did it?
They blame guns and the relatively easy access to them. They blame society. In time, they will get around to blaming the Bush Administration and its policies.
But rarely do you hear them blame the individual who pulled the trigger. Why is that?

Look at some of the answers given by liberals. They prove my point exactly, especially Moche. Blame society, blame guns, blame the establishment. But the savage gunman, well, he was crying for help and didn't get any!
You liberals make me sick!!

This seems to be typical of their lack of taking personal responsibility in their own lives, in general.

Of course everyone blames him, but blaming him doesn't really seem to accomplish anything. In fact it might be a way of avoiding having to deal with problems, as if to say, well I guess there is nothing we can do about the occasional crazy person who decides to start shooting people. But if we do think there might be things we might be able to do to prevent this sort of tragedy, then you almost have to start looking at broader societal problems. Also, punitive measure do not work for people who are inclined to be suicidal. It seems that maybe liberals and conservatives should be able to agree that people like that might need help before they hurt someone. So the point is not to blame society but instead to figure out ways that society can deal with people who are dangerous and disaffected before they start shooting people. This guy was a walking time bomb, but not enough was done to deal with him.

Whoa! Hold on there buddy! I'm a Liberal, and I'm not blaming anyone for this tragedy other than that madman! It was him with the gun, it was him who went on the rampage. No one made him do it! It was his own doing. Granted, yes, I think American's have a bit easier access at owning a gun than most countries, but it's a person that pulls the trigger, not the gun itself! So before you go thinking that Liberals put the blame on something else other than the real source, maybe you should talk to some of us..

in accordance to the Lunatic Left, you realize the "Bush is the devil" group, it incredibly is likewise a fault of the Bush administration. I even have heard loons say that it incredibly is because of the fact human beings see Bush attacking Iraq shows human beings that violence is the respond particularly than communicate while provided with a topic. And so because it incredibly is the reason this awful act surpassed off...... WHAT?!?!?!??!?! And this Jim Moran, D-VA, weighed in that that it incredibly is Bush's fault! Are you frigging kidding me!?!?!?!?! How the hell do you're taking a poor situation like this and spin it right into a political rant? human beings would desire to be ashamed!

Here you go, read my writing: The madman did it. We all know that, it's a given. I won't blame Bush for this one. But I do blame him for the madness in Iraq. He started it and fired the first shot, just like the madman at V.T. Why won't you blame Bush for that in the same manner.

For you cons out there that think if the profs were armed and the students were armed they would have shot this fool. Think again. Virginia has the most relaxed gun laws in the country. You don't have to wait to be registered and you don't have to prove your citizenship. He bought the gun legally because he had a receipt for it. And, even if a prof had a gun he couldn't get to it fast enough to kill the guy before the guy blew his head off. And, how do you know if any of the students started shooting at this guy that they would only get him and not others. Please think before you post. Guns are not the answer here. We will never get rid of guns in our culture but going in the opposite extreme in arming everyone is not the answer. It will lead to more killing because there will be more trigger happy crazy people out there having more guns. THINK!

They did not have enough information yesterday to even know who did the killing, and now that he has been identified, the media says this guy, was mentally ill, that he had written some very scary things, that prove he was mentally unstable. I do not think anybody is blaming our government, or our President, for this.I do not always agree with our government on foreign policies, but I am a proud American, and back our president, and our government, 100 percent, as we do live in the greatest country in the world.

Why are tight as*es so dumb as to not realize the truth, or simply decide to ignore it for financial gain?

Humans are all evil; they are destroying each other. The general public is mostly responsible for tearing at each other and not teaching better ways. Businesses don't care enough about you to take the cost of protecting you. Government does absolutely nothing to get the people the therapy they need, the protection that they need as civil rights, and it doesn't force the businesses to put up the protection required.

The prime responsibility is that of humans. The problem is there are none.

Even that madman had to have a reason why he did what he did. Something that pushed him over the edge. He was either brainwashed , or the product of a society that promotes violence and shooting people as a fun way to spend your afternoon. Society is to blame for the lack of education and culture of every individual ... and every tragedy, every madman's lack of tolerance, understanding and respect for other human beings should make us think that society is flawed, and needs changes. Those changes must start within us, but only politicians are those who can lead society, and induce those changes at national or global levels.

For all you Libbs answering...
he wanted to kill as many people as possible, regardless of any gun laws. The gun laws in fact prevented a good guy from shooting the killer and preventing the deaths of soo many students. This is blatent proof of how Imperative our 2nd ammendment is.

Second, This is not the fault of the school, the city, or the president. This is the fault of the guy who snapped. Nobody is to blame. Everybody acted accordingly. Its easy to cast blame after we know what happened.

I believe if we had weapons regulations there would have been less carnage and death at Virginia campus.
If we just allowed shotguns limited to a 3 shot chamber that carnage would have been severly limited. If the killer had a long gun he would quite possibly have been spotted on campus making his way to a dorm where he killed an additional 30 people.
Some of the answers I've seen here have to be from people who have not seen carnage and hopefully, will not experience it. Perhaps if they had the opportunity to explain their reasons for idiotic gun persimissivess to the parents of the dead children they might hesitate to support gun laws that allow any incompetant fool to own an automatic weapon.
Thanks

I think you made that up... I know you just can't stand liberals.. pray for the famalies alright and stop blaming stuff on us. I do think guns should be limited as a RESULT of this incedent but I am not blaming Bush for it.
