Manhattan is one of the many Boroughs of New York City... others include Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island.. Not sure if it is part of a "county" or not....
and Debra B - isn't Nassau County what you find on Long Island...? I don't think most of the boroguhs of New York are part of Nassau County...
