I tried a lot of foundations but they never seem to match very good...I like the natural look but most mineral makeup (ie Bare Minerals etc.) don't have my shade and give me a silver tint!! :( I have a lot of red in my skin and combination skin type. PLEASE HELP!

Since you said mineral makeup didn't work for you (which is my first option) try Iman cosmetics, I've never tried the foundation but everything else is great and she has many different colours and shades.
I would consider MAC after that as well as black opal. i have oily skin so their foundation was no good for me however it did provide good coverage but you might find it suits you better

Now, I don't know this personally, as I am pale as hell and look like I've been hiding in a cave forever most of the time, but I've heard from a couple of sources that the new line from Covergirl called "The Queen Collection" has a really great selection of makeup for African-American skin.
